Profield announced the start of AIDesign and AIDesigner, new solutions for publishing, commercial printing and promotional production that advance the AI layout and automated typesetting technologies released in 2016.
The solutions learn from production data and operator actions across print and digital media, automating and enhancing layout generation, editing, typesetting and production support.
They support catalogs, EC promotional media, flyers, newspapers, books, municipal publications and other production fields, helping improve production efficiency, standardize quality and support knowledge transfer in production teams.

AIDesign
AIDesign is an AI layout generation engine that learns from existing publishing and page data, analyzing layout tendencies, typography rules, color usage and image placement.
By learning media-specific design rules and production tendencies, it helps streamline processes that previously depended on designer or operator experience and enables high-quality layout proposals in a short time.

AIDesigner
AIDesigner is an automated editing support system that learns from operator actions such as editing, layout adjustment and correction work in production environments.
By analyzing user operation histories and correction tendencies, it supports layout adjustment and editing instructions while reproducing experienced operators’ know-how.
It also supports integration with existing production systems and workflows, allowing phased AI adoption while retaining current environments.
