Background and challenge
As the number of handled items increased, TRUSCO needed to show more information than a paper catalog could contain. Existing digital catalogs mainly reproduced print pages and did not provide enough data or update flexibility.
The team needed an experience that combined the browsability of a catalog with the information volume and freshness of a web site.

Why SimplePage was selected
SimplePage matched the digital catalog concept TRUSCO had been looking for. It could add and update information beyond the limits of paper while preserving familiar catalog presentation.
The ability to add hidden item numbers, update product data and support comparison made it a strong fit for TRUSCO Orange Book workflows.

Results and next steps
After implementation, users could browse all hidden item numbers within a page and compare selected products intuitively. PDF creation for selected products also became useful for customer proposals.
TRUSCO plans to expand the number of listed products and continue improving real-time updates, recommendations and multilingual use.
